Location:  Northeast coast. Pano Gouves a lovely pretty traditional village situtated 18 klms from Heraklion airport  and 3 klms from the sandy beach at Kato Gouves. The village has a lovely central square with an imposing church. Several tavernas and kafenions line the pretty village. The village is well service with a supermarket, bakery, a daily bus service and a school.
