Drapanos is one of the most sought after traditional villages in the region of Apokoronas, with visitors who come back year after year. Due to its elevated position village has amazing views of Souda Bay to the west. the White Mountains and lush fertile plains. The village has a traditional café in the square where you can while away those balmy evenings and watch the world go by.  There is also a small traditional taverna serving Greek specialties and a mini market.   The tourist resorts of Kalives with all services and amenities is only 10 km. The resort of Almerida is 6 km giving the best of both worlds.  This makes it an ideal choice for holidays or permanent residence.   Owing to the popularity of this village, this is a great investment.   The large town of Hania is 30 km. 25 km to Souda bay, and approximately 35 km to Hania airport.
